My high school tennis coach introduced our team to pickleball back in 2006. He did so in the hopes that we would improve our touch at the net. I was intrigued by the sport, but kept after my aspirations to play tennis in college. After playing tennis at the collegiate level, I decided it was time to hang up the racquet to pursue mastering the sport of pickleball. I have been playing recreationally and competitively since before pickleball was known world wide. I have a pickleball certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), and I absolutely love sharing my knowledge of the sport with others!
